Test for backlog in surveying postpone to 5 Dec

There will be class test for backlog students in surveying on 5 December at 305 EII. The class test timing is from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The syllabus for test is levelling and contouring which includes following topics:
Definitions, Methods of determining elevation (H.I and Rise and fall method), Classification of levels, Sources of errors and precision, methods of representation. Definition and characteristics of contours, methods of contouring and its usage.

Quiz -2 based on the  topics Interview technique and Group discussion will be conducted on Thursday in all sections.
Following are the students who have not appeared in Mock Interview ( PSE-1) . They are required to be surely present on Thursday for the same.

GI Presentation and Quiz

Those students who missed their presentation or would like to repeat can appear again on Thursday 5th Nov, 2013 at 12:00noon in room no 210, e2. No further presentation shall be accepted.

Second quiz (optional) for all the students shall also be conducted on Thursday at 10:00am in room no 210, e2. Anybody can appear in the quiz, whether you have appeared earlier or not. If you have appeared earlier, best of two shall be counted.


Fluid Mechanics presentation on 3 and 5 Dec for 3A

The students of third year section A are requested to give their presentation for the following topics in fluid mechanics given below on 3rd and 4th December. Each group has to make 25 slides only and every student has to speak for 5 slides and the total duration for each group is only 15 minutes.

4)      Flow through convergent-divergent mouthpiece. (Roll no 44, 78, 82, 52 and 54)
6)      Flow through large orifice, Classification on notches and weirs. (Roll no 61, 49, 62, 68, and 58)
7)      Flow over a rectangular sharp-crested weir or notch. (Roll no 72, 03, 21, 20 and 04)
