IMPORTANT:AMCAT assessment


The AMCAT assessment is scheduled on 30th September, 2014 at 9:30 AM


There will be two sections in AMCAT assessment-

AMCAT assessment with Domain Test - 3.5 Hours (9:30 AM - 1:00 PM)

AUTOMATA (Coding Test) - 75 mins (2:00 PM - 3:15 PM)

Both the tests are compulsory.




The details of the test is given below-

Test Duration for AMCAT - 3.5hrs. 



Test Duration for AUTOMATA - 75 Minutes.

AMCAT Guidelines
1.       Each AMCAT Module is of 900 marks. AUTOMATA Module is of 100 Marks.
2.       Cannot Skip any question.
3.       Cannot go back to the Previous Question.
4.       No Negative Marking.
5.       No Calculators Allowed.
6.       Every Module has a separate timer and leftover time will not be credited to another module.
7.       English, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Personality Test is compulsory for all the students.
8.       Domain/Skill Modules needs to be attempted as per the specialization. (2 Modules could be attempted maximum)
9.       It is important for a student to note their AMCAT ID's, once the Test Commence.

MCA: Computer Programming and Computer Science.
Electronics Communication: Electronics & Semi-Conductor & Telecommunication.
Electrical Engineering: Electrical Engineering & Automotive Engineering
Mechanical Branch : Mechanical Module.
Civil Branch : Civil Module.
Instrumentation Engineering: Instrumentation Engineering Module.

Bio-Technology- Molecular Bio-Tech, Bio Tech Lab Technique, Chemistry, Bio Chemistry
Production Branch: Production Engineering Module

Industrial Engineering Branch: Industrial Engineering Module



AUTOMATA Test - 75 Minutes - C, C++, JAVA - Student has to attempt minimum 1.
