Fluid mechanics presentation for sec 3A on 3 & 4 Dec

The students of third year section A are requested to give their presentation for the following topics in fluid mechanics given below on 3^rd and 4^th December. Each group has to make 25 slides only and every student has to speak for 5 slides and the total duration for each group is only 15 minutes.

First presentation on 3^rd December from 3:30 PM onwards (venue 210 EII)

1)      Classifications of orifices and mouthpiece, flow through an orifice. (Roll no 53, 85, 79, 46, and 51)

2)      Different hydraulic coefficients and Experimental determination of hydraulic coefficients for an orifice. (Roll no 34, 23, 08, and 22)

3)      Discharge through fully and partially submerged orifice. (42, 31, 02, 16, and 39)

4)      Flow through convergent-divergent mouthpiece. (Roll no 44, 78, 82, 52 and 54)

6)      Flow through large orifice, Classification on notches and weirs. (Roll no 61, 49, 62, 68, and 58)

7)      Flow over a rectangular sharp-crested weir or notch. (Roll no 72, 03, 21, 20 and 04)

Second presentation on 4^th December from 4:00 PM onwards (venue 210 EII)

8)      Flow over a triangular weir (V-Notch weir) or triangular notch (V-Notch) (Roll no 43, 73, 71, 36 and 33)

9)      Flow over a trapezoidal weir or notch (Roll no 76, 77, 38, 32, and 57)

10)  Flow over broad crested weir and cipolletti weir. (Roll no 1, 25, 6, and 10)

11)  Different types of nappe over a suppressed weir, submerged weir. (Roll no 9, 14, 17, 30, and 41)

5)      Flow through internal or re-entrant on Borda’s mouthpiece (both running free and running full) (Roll no 55, 60, 64, 80, and 81)
