Pesentation topics in fluid mechanics for Sec 3A

The students of third year section A are requested to give their names by tomorrow for the following topics in fluid mechanics given below, each group will have 5 students.

1)      Classifications of orifices and mouthpiece, flow through an orifice.

2)      Different hydraulic coefficients and Experimental determination of hydraulic coefficients for an orifice

3)      Discharge through fully and partially submerged orifice.

4)      Flow through convergent-divergent mouthpiece.

5)      Flow through internal or re-entrant on Borda’s mouthpiece (both running free and running full)

6)      Flow through large orifice. Classification on notches and weirs.

7)      Flow over a rectangular sharp-crested weir or notch

8)      Flow over a triangular weir (V-Notch weir) or triangular notch (V-Notch)

9)      Flow over a trapezoidal weir or notch

10)  Flow over broad crested weir and cipolletti weir.

11)  Different types of nappe over a suppressed weir, submerged weir
